Our Work
Explore some of our current and recent projects making an impact in inclusive education and community support.

01
Training Community Leaders for Inclusive Early Childhood Development & Education
This project builds the capacity of parents, teachers, and community volunteers in inclusive early childhood development and education. By training 56 community members, the program creates a strong support network to help at least 40 children with and without disabilities access inclusive learning at the ISHEMA Inclusive ECD Center.
02
Scholarships for Inclusive Early Childhood Education
This project provides scholarships for 15 children with disabilities facing mobility and financial barriers. Support covers transportation, meals, and care at the center, enabling children to access inclusive early childhood development services. By removing these barriers, the program helps children build foundational skills and prepares them for successful inclusion in primary school.

03
Inclusive Early Childhood Development for Children with Disabilities
This project provides inclusive early childhood development services for 45 young children with developmental delays and disabilities from underserved communities in rural Rwanda. Through early stimulation, play-based learning, and nutrition support at an inclusive daycare center, children gain the skills needed to thrive and transition successfully into school.
04
Co-Designing Adaptive Mobility Solutions
Working with Georgia Tech students, CECHE Foundation co-designed adaptive seating (APT chairs) that converts cardboard supports into mobile, durable assistive chairs. These locally repairable solutions enhance mobility and support for children with cerebral palsy and their caregivers.
