"As a mother of five children, including two with disabilities, life has not been easy. Although I have a husband, much of the responsibility of caring for my children falls on me. I have faced both support and criticism from my community, and there were times it became difficult to even leave the house with my children. My son has limited mobility and breathing difficulties, and after visiting many clinics without finding the help he needed, doctors finally referred us to CECHE Foundation.
Despite the long distance from our home, bringing my son to CECHE changed our lives. Before joining the program, he struggled to sit on his own and had very limited neck movement. Since working with CECHE, I have seen real progress in his strength and mobility, giving me hope for his future. The organization has not only supported my son’s physical development, but also encouraged our family through difficult circumstances and misunderstanding from others. As his primary caretaker, even small improvements make a huge difference in both of our lives. I remain hopeful that with continued support from CECHE, my son will continue to grow stronger and more independent."

“As a mother of a child with a physical disability, my days are filled with both hard work and caregiving. I wake up at 5 AM each day for agricultural work before spending the rest of my day caring for my son. Much of this responsibility falls on me alone, as I cannot rely on my husband for financial or caregiving support. Without reliable transportation or stable resources, accessing healthcare and physiotherapy for my child has been very difficult.
When CECHE Foundation provided my son with a supportive chair, it changed our daily lives. Before, he had to remain lying down most of the time, but now he can sit upright beside me while I complete household tasks. The chair has improved his comfort, supported his movement, and helped adjust the positioning of his legs, which were previously very limited in motion. Seeing him gain more independence has also given me greater freedom in caring for him.
Alongside government-provided medicine that has helped his speech and development, the support from CECHE has given our family hope. I continue to pray that my son will regain more movement in his legs as he grows older, and I am deeply grateful for the encouragement and practical support CECHE has provided us throughout this journey.”

“As a mother of two children, including one with a disability, life has been incredibly difficult. I raise my children mostly on my own after being rejected by both my partner and parts of my family because of my child’s condition. With no stable job, I survive by doing small agricultural work whenever I can, often earning very little each day. There have been times when I struggled to provide food, transportation, healthcare, and even basic security for my children.
Caring for my child requires constant attention, but accessing medical care is not easy. Transportation costs are high, hospitals are far away, and I often have to choose between going to work to feed my family or taking my child for treatment. These challenges can feel overwhelming, especially without strong support from those around me.
Through CECHE Foundation, however, I found encouragement, care, and hope. The organization supported my child and reminded me that we are not alone. Their help has made a meaningful difference in our lives during a very difficult time, and it has given me strength to continue caring for my children and hoping for a better future.
